About This Zone

We provide roll-off collection and large container service for this zone (commercial waste and recycling removal for containers 10 cubic yards and larger, open top roll-off dumpsters and compactors).

Staten Island is now currently in the transition period of the Commercial Waste Zone (CWZ) program under NYC Local Law 199, as of July 1, 2026. All businesses must select an authorized hauler and sign a contract before the end of the transition period on August 31, 2026. As an authorized carter, Action Environmental provides reliable, sustainable waste management services here.

Neighborhoods in the Staten Island zone include St. George, Stapleton, West Brighton, New Dorp, New Springville, Great Kills, and Tompkinsville.

The CWZ program enhances environmental responsibility, operational safety, and service efficiency. We're committed to helping Staten Island businesses maintain compliance while contributing to NYC's sustainability goals.
