The Commercial Waste Zone (CWZ) implementation for Lower Manhattan is starting soon. The sign-up period begins on April 1, 2026 and ends on May 31, 2026.
Neighborhoods in the Lower Manhattan zone include Financial District (FiDi), Tribeca, Seaport, Battery Park City, Governors Island, and parts of Chinatown.
Plan now to choose an authorized carter so your service is ready when the zone goes live on June 1, 2026.
