Bring Your Child to Work Day
During Bring Your Child to Work Day, employees’ children get to explore our workplace and meet members of our team. These visits give them a firsthand look at what it takes to keep New York City clean, while introducing the importance of sustainability and environmental responsibility. By educating the next generation today, we help inspire a cleaner, greener future for tomorrow.
Safety Driven Calendar Contest
Every year we host a calendar contest where employees encourage their children, nieces, nephews, and other young relatives to create an original drawing that reflects what safety means to them. Once all submissions are collected, our Safety team selects 12 winning entries for the Safety Driven Calendar, assigning each to a month of the year. The calendars are then printed and distributed across the organization for all employees to enjoy — inspiring future leaders while keeping safety part of daily life.
