Action Carting invited members of the Good Shepherd Lifelink College Support Program to a Yankee game against the Blue Jays on September 16th, 2009. Ninety Good Shepherd members and staff were treated to the game and granted access to walk the warning track of the field itself!

Most of these members use the service provided by Good Shepherd to help focus on transitioning into self sufficient successful adults. Good Shepherd Services help 20,000 New York residents up to 25 years of age annually. They provide services to assist in education, family development, and community involvement to help encourage a sense of belonging and self achievement while instilling the values of teamwork, communication, respect, empowerment, and copmpassion.

Here at Action Carting we not only aim to shoot to better the environment of New York, but also aim to better the sense of community and sense of pride toward the area which we work in. We appreciate all the help provided by the New York Yankees and Good Shepherd Services in enabling us to make this idea into a wonderful and fulfilling experience.
