Action Carting Environmental Services, Inc. (“Action”) announced its acquisition of the hauling assets of the New York City solid waste and recycling business of Waste Management, Inc." Action, not yet ten years old, will double in size with the acquisition, making it one of the city’s largest providers of solid waste and recycling services." With this acquisition, Action, a privately held company, backed by private equity funds, demonstrated once again its commitment to serving New York City.
