Frank Rizzo, Operations Manager.

Frank began his career in the solid waste and recycling industry, in 1999, as a part-time driver in New York. At the time, he was also working as a Corrections Officer in Essex County, New Jersey. Through good, old-fashioned, hard work he earned his way to Operations Manager, where he currently oversees 100 employees. In one of his many roles, he runs a dispatch department, which, every day, schedules the work of approximately 74 vehicles. These 24 roll-off and 50 commercial trucks handle trash, recycling and compost material removal throughout the five boroughs of New York City.

Marisa Rizzo, Director of Customer Relations.
Marisa Rizzo runs Action Carting’s customer relations department. Marisa has worked in the solid waste and recycling industry for most of her life. In 1990, she answered phones for her father, after school, and in 1999, joined the newly-founded Action. At that time, she handled everything from inside sales, to customer service, to truck dispatch. This early experience paved the way for her to lead a team that currently services over 13,000 customers. On a typical day, the customer relations department receives hundreds of calls, many of which Marisa still handles - from customers she has assisted for nearly a decade.

Mike Walsh, Technology Director.
Mike oversees the Action Carting technology group, which is responsible for designing and integrating Action`s internal computer systems and networks. He is also the architect of innovative solutions for automating work-flow among various departments within the organization. Prior to joining Action, in May of 2006, Mike served as a National Director of Business Analysis for the Wrap Manager group within Checkfree Investment Services. Prior to Checkfree, Mike worked in a variety of positions within the financial services sector. He has a BS in Finance from Arizona State University.

Joe Burke, Director of Sales.
Joe Burke leads our sales force of 18. Whether a multimillion dollar conglomerate or the neighborhood’s favorite pizzeria, Joe and his team are available to address all your solid waste removal and recycling needs. Prior to joining Action in July of 2007, Joe spent eight years as a senior salesperson with Interstate Waste Services before being promoted to sales manager. Joe began his career in the solid waste industry directly from college where he was a two time Division I All American wrestler with Seton Hall University.

John Glauda, President and Member of the Board of Directors.
John began his career driving a truck in 1993. After stints driving, dispatching and supervising, he founded Action Carting in 1999 with two trucks. From the beginning his trucks stood out as the best looking and best maintained in the city. That pride has been the foundation for the company’s attention to detail and devotion to customer service. Through John’s leadership the first two trucks now number nearly one hundred.

Ronald S. Bergamini, CEO and Member of the Board of Directors.
Ron joined Action in April 2007 after a twenty-year career as an attorney representing various sectors of the business community and, in particular, many in the solid waste and recycling industry. Immediately before joining Action, he served as General Counsel to Interstate Waste Services. Ron received his undergraduate degree, in Finance, from New York University and his JD, from Suffolk University in Boston, MA.

Michael DiBella, Chief Operating Officer.

Mike's career in the solid waste industry spans more than twenty years.
In 1985, he started as a driver for a family-owned business, DiBella Sanitation, Inc. and eventually worked his way through all aspects of the operation. Mike left DiBella in 1998 as General Manager. In 1992, Mike started his own solid waste collection company, Environmental Waste Industries, Inc. in Albany NY, where he was Chief Operating Officer until 1998. That same year he founded Interstate Waste Services, which serves northern New Jersey and southern New York State. Mike was Chief Operating Officer at Interstate for nearly six years. Mike joined Action in April 2007 and is very excited about having an opportunity to bring his years of experience in ensuring customer satisfaction to the city of New York.
